We take care over what we publish and we check our sources. Even so, we cannot guarantee that everything is correct, complete or current. Synology changes DSM, Apple changes tvOS, and camera firmware changes. Setup steps that worked last month may not work today.

What that means in practice

The setup guides describe DSM permissions, ports and account settings. Follow them at your own discretion. If you are unsure about a change to your NAS, check Synology’s own documentation first.

Compatibility claims describe what we have tested. NasCam is tested against current Surveillance Station on an Apple TV HD (2015) and Apple TV 4K. Other combinations may behave differently.

Buying the app

NasCam is sold through the Apple App Store, and Apple is the seller. Your purchase, your refund rights and the licence for the app are governed by Apple’s terms, not by anything on this site.
